Clinical performance management - Network Therapy

Clinical performance management - Network Therapy

Please find attached our guidance on how our clinical assurance team performance manage network therapists providing therapy on our mental health network.

Our role as a clinical assurance team is to ensure high standards of clinical delivery for our mutual clients. Given the nature of working as a Network Therapist, compared with more traditional therapy delivery (with clinical and case management supervision, line management etc.) the primary way we can achieve this is through your clinical notes (along with correspondence and feedback from you and your clients)

The vast majority of the therapists that work with us here at VHG provide consistently high quality therapy. Our team will always provide education and feedback where expected standards are not met. However, as a service providing mental health support to clients, if therapists do not respond to feedback or are performing at a standard that may result in harm to clients and/or the reputation of Vita Health Group, further action will be taken as described in the attached document.

We aim to create as a transparent relationship with all that work for VHG as possible and providing our internal performance management processes we hope supports this.
